Light Stop: MSSM versus R–parity violation
We discuss the phenomenology of the lightest stops in models where R-parity is broken by bilinear terms. In this class of models we consider scenarios where the R-parity breaking two-body decay t̃1 → τ + b competes with the leading three-body decays t̃1 → W + b χ̃01, t̃1 → H + b χ̃01, t̃1 → b l̃ + i νl, and t̃1 → b ν̃l l + (l = e, μ, τ). We demonstrate that the R–parity violating decay can be the domina...
متن کاملRadiatively induced light right-handed stop
A right-handed stop not much heavier or even lighter than the Z boson has today desirable phenomenological consequences. We study how it can result within the usual radiative scenario of electroweak symmetry breaking. A restriction on the gaugino mass parameters, M2∼ 0.3m10, arises if soft terms satisfy relations suggested by unification theories. Moreover, requiring to get a light stop without...
متن کاملPhenomenological implications of light stop and higgsinos
We examine the phenomenological implications of light t̃R and higgsinos in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, assuming tan2 β < mt/mb and heavy t̃L and gauginos. In this simplified setting, we study the contributions to ∆mBd , ǫK , BR(b → sγ), Rb ≡ Γ(Z → bb)/Γ(Z → hadrons), BR(t → bW ), and their interplay. متن کاملLight Stop and the b → sγ Process
A constraint from b → sγ process to the minimal supersymmetric standard model is derived in the light stop region where the coupling between the lighter stop and the Z boson vanishes due to the left-right mixing of the stop states. It is pointed out that although some region in the parameter space is excluded from this process there remains a large parameter space where the amplitude of the b →...
متن کاملA Light Stop and Electroweak Baryogenesis
The possibility of creating baryon asymmetry at the electroweak phase transition in the minimal supersymmetric standard model is considered for the case when right-handed squarks are much lighter than left-handed ones. It is shown that the usual requirement v(T c)=T c > 1 for baryogenesis can be satissed in a range of the parameters of the model, consistent with present experimental bounds.
